He was called a cult filmmaker. He was called a maverick filmmaker. He was given many labels in the past. And when he started disappointing the audience and started giving duds one after another, he was once again assigned many labels, only different ones! Well, he's going through the lowest phase of his career but his never-say-die attitude is keeping him on his toes and he's still making movies.

Recently, he announced a film with an interesting title and a leading corporate house showed interest in the product. No prizes for guessing that the director was to meet the head honcho of this corporate house.

Sigh! This director, who is going through the lowest phase of his career, had to wait three long hours for the honcho to find the time to meet him to discuss his next film. Sigh!

I was just gonna say RGV but i was doubtful if he was ever called a cult & maverick filmmaker 😆 I guess he was thanks to films like Sathya & Rangeela..And Ekta is definitely capable of doing this 😆
