If HNY is releasing on 24th oct ,it has every chance to collect close to 40 crores !

The opening weekend will be hugeee for HNY..it may likely recover its budget from the opening weekend itself !

acc to Boi Krrish 3 4th day collection was around 31-32cr 35 by taran which was the biggest single day that time.. after that d3's 1st sunday collection broke the biggest single day record i think it was 35cr 38 odd by taran

Singham Returns heading for 25 Cr on Opening day!

Singham Returns is heading for a figure close to 25 Cr on the opening day. The collections of the film in Mass belts have been excellent and the National Holiday has given the film's business a mighty push. The collections of the film have been superb in Mumbai, Rajasthan and UP. The response for the film has been excellent in both single-screens and multiplexes in Northern circuits.

The opening day collections of the film may even touch the 26 Cr mark and break the Kick's opening day figures to be the biggest opener of the year so far, if the trade-trend grows in evening shows. This is a fantastic result for the film and the 4-day weekend will help the film to collect huge figures and to position itself to do well over the opening week.

So to sum it up, the early report is that SR is heading for a 25 Cr opening day figure and is also challenging the opening day figures of Salman Khan's Kick.

I enjoyed the movie

Ajay was as brilliant as Singham as he was in first part... Bebo was good too, ppl r saying she hammed nd all, but she brought comic relief in otherwise action packed movie... She spoke Marathi really well... especially that Bhaga Tavade part was really funny
Daya was given equal importance as well... Daya.. Lathi Charge... Daya Darwaza todo

Ajay's one liners were good... I myself wanted to hooot and whistle in some scenes... We also have a Gujju version of Aata majhi satakli

Villians were good but not as impressive as Prakash Raj...

And that aata majhi satakli song which appeared in the end credits, ppl were actually cheering for that little kid and waited to watch the entire song 😛

Overall it was paisa vasool for me... 😃

My Review:

W*F is this? Rohi-Ajay combo, if we love your films doesn't mean u will serve a dish which is served already. SR is no where near Singham. From background score, to even dialogues, more worse even enacting same sequence from Singham & calling it a sequel?

Ajay looked very bad in film, over-confidence of playing the same character made him look even more worse. 1st film after so many years, i am not liking ajay. Bajirao Singham from 1st part was THE BEST, in this film, only he is trying to playing the same character, but fails badly.

Rohit Shetty - Enjoyed his work till now, 1st film i am beary disappointed. Kya Story likhi hai? Singham 1 + Khakee = Singham Returns. Even put the same "Aali re Aali tujha bhaari aali" from Singham 1 in this part, just villain being different? Why so?

ONLY GOOD in film = Action = Mind Blowing, Seetimaar, full on toddooo... but it was also not as good as Singham 1. Rohit designed the stunts, it was refreshing n background score for fights were also good.

2 Main elemnets of Singham 1 - EPIC Dialogues + Killer VILLAIN - JaiKaant Shikre - badly missed in this film. Although film is loaded with tons of Marathi language dialouges, slangs which will make SR ATBB in mumbai/maharashtra circuit, but it all couldn't create the same magic of Singham 1. Amul Gupte was wasted here, was epic in kaminey.

Bebo Meri Bebo - Why u done this film? why even put up her character? totally misfit.

Film is well received & will be Ajay's Biggest HIT & Grosser, but Singham 1 will remain 1 of his best performance along with Omkara / SOS / Company.

I have seen in sequels Rohi-Ajay combo always couldn't create that kind of magic which they do with films they make on 1st on basis. Chalo itni saari films ke baad ek bad film aa bhi gayi, no probs... Agli Baar they might give another good entertaining film.

Singham Returns Heading Towards Historic Day 1

Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn are back with their second installment of Singham, the hugely-anticipated Singham Returns. The film opened to a phenomenal response, not only at single-screens but also at multiplex chains across India. The film, which also features Kareena Kapoor Khan alongside Devgn, is expected to turn in massive returns at the box office due to the Independence Day holiday today. It is also expected to clock whooping numbers at the weekend, thanks to Monday being a holiday in some centres. Here's what multiplex chains across India have to say about the film:

Amar Laykar of PVR Cinemas and Cinemax: On average, Singham Returns has 24 shows per property every day. Today, the film will wrap at impressive numbers at PVR properties all-India as today is a national holiday. We expect the Monday holiday to be a game-changer for the film. To compliment such a great response, the weekend's advance booking is also impressive. The film has 90-per cent occupancy at most of our properties and footfalls are unchanged. Singham Returns will be between Rs 25 crore and Rs 30 crore all-India NBOC.

Ansh Kapoor of Fun Cinemas: The film has 3 screens dedicated to it at our 4-screen properties. We have not raised ticket prices and they are similar to the other big releases of the year. Amazingly, the film, which was expected to do very well at single-screens, has drawn an outstanding response at multiplex chains as well. Occupancy is 85 to 90 per cent at our Fun properties.

Abhishek Rai, Inox: Singham Returns has a very strong hold at the ticket window and will continue to hold strong across the Monday holiday as well. The film has 90 to 95 per cent occupancy, which has been constant throughout the day.

Ashish Gogia, Suncity Cinemas: We have 100-per cent occupancy for the film today. Day one will ring in outstanding numbers at our four properties. Day one, all-India, should be Rs 25 crore plus.
