I believe their interactions were real not for promotions.
Sales gimmick are such that it is difficult to see the reality. Just an example when these same star endorse some products which they hardly understand still when ever we see an ad. endorsed by them we believe their narration.
Why now?
1. This marketing promotion part grew gradually and it is having its peak period from say after 2008 becoz its a recent phenomenon . We can check this how much they spend on promotion say prior to 10 years back. All those spreading false news of buying flat etc. are part of building that narration.
2. Today money is huge so also prestige, huge ego of comparison with peer and more important brand of a star rely on success and failure.
3. As i said they cant adopt the same strategy for all movies. Like they cant create a love angle among salman -sonakshi for many reason.
4. These things only dont depend on a success or failure of movie or career goes downhill. Infact the more a chance of movie will be success the more energy and money they spend on promotion.
5. Its upto us weather we believe the illusion when salman kiss jacky , or each other give few statement infront of whole media or realise its a strategy to sell a love story during a promotional programme it is upto us. Simple salman never show such coziness infront of full media in his salman-kat phase whom they are in relationship say may be for more than 5 years , he made everything speculative on that time and here we just believe someone whom he know in one movie?
Imagine everything happens with in one month prior to release of movie and we want to believe that as gospel truth ? When they are spending so much money and energy on promotion of a movie then certainly it is difficult to understand the reality and their narration. If something helping anyone in getting say 50 crore than why cant someone display a kiss , after all its just a kiss
