Aishwariya had a lot more energy to it and Madhuri had the expressions, still loved Madhuri in the other songs, Maar Dala and Kahe Ched Mohe.

Aishwariya was technically better but had not shown any emotions what that song was trying to portray.

While Madhuri may not have been that good but she made up for the emotions.

I can't compare because after the Vjayanthimala Padmini dance sequence which was a competition on screen, I cannot remember anything where two accomplished dancers were together on screen at the same time. Ash and Madz were just tremendous together and complimented each other very well.

Dola Re is one of those repeat viewing things for me. The decor, the music, costumes, ambience and mostly for the two mesmerizing and accomplished dancers who did a phenomenal job.

I liked them both equally. Both on par and it was honestly one of the best 2-actress dances, like ever. Energy-wise, yeah Aish was better and she prob got more to do b/c Madhuri was training for harder numbers like Kahe and Maar Dala...so I don't think it's a big deal that AIsh's solo bits were longer.

For me, this poll comes down to preference and 100% Aish-bias. 😆
