In 90s, both Salman and SRK were giving tough competition to each other. Actually salman had more hits in 90s. Aamir was nowhere near.

In 2000s, Srk was ahead. It was from 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, and 2007. That's 5 years! But In between salman gives hits like tere naam, Dulhan hum le jayenge, mujse shaadi karogi, partner, no entry, Maine pyaar Kyun kiya ect. Then from 2009 salman was constistent.

I do agree that Srk was more consistent star but Srk never broke records or give highest grossers. Salman made most records

So yes salman is the bigger star and honestly aamir comes no where near neither salman nor Srk. Yes he have three ATBBs but that doesn't make him bigger star. salman have four ATBB if you count kuch kuch hota hai.

Aamir has great script sense (barring a few films). He does less films, but is quite impactfull in them.

Acting have no connection with star power. Salman is still a great actor. He was convincing in each and every role he did recently. He was great in kick.

Aamir depends on content. 3 idiots and ghajini had content and that content contributed to their sucess. Dhoom 3 was a brand, it was franchise hence that made d3 a huge success. If aamir does a crappy movie like ready, I don't think anyone will go and watch it. Even his taalash didn't crossed 100 crs.

SRK and Salman were giving tough competition in 90s to each other but still salman was ahead because of hahk, HDDCS, hssh, biwi no 1, mpk, baaghi ect.

No one is denying the fact that Srk is not consistent, he is consistent but he never made or broke any big records. Salman made most records. Salman Star power today is unmatchable. Giving 6 back to back blockbusters is not a piece of cake. Again you might find his recent movie crappy but majority doesn't.

Even according to me I'll chose to watch Dabbang, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Kick over all recent Srk movies

Me too agree !! ...plus he leaves his signature style everywhere

Regarding aamir people might like his movies but not diehard phans !! Most like other actors not just him !!

Whereas, with Salman he has many diehard supporters .. So without any doubt when talk on Stardom it's SALMAN.. the hysteria he creates that I have seen in video s is what a star only can!!

Yes he is on IF but in reality i would say they all are equal in starpower in india and have their strength and weaknesses .
Overseas is a different matter and we have an undisputed king .
