I wouldn't call it insecurity. His career is almost at its end, atleast his prime. He doesn't have anything to be insecure of.

Probably just sick of seeing updates of his rivals film constantly showing up on his new feed, which he probably has no interest in.

Rather doing unfollow, he could have MUTED it, Twitter has MUTE option, after he while he could have UN-MUTED them 😆
