Of course he does.

Does Siddharth Malhotra have a huge fan following?-- YES, a strong female fan following. Male fan following- not so much. He needs to do some masala action to gain in that sector. I am waiting for Warrior... he is just too silent and girly for me and that innocent face is not helping either. It's hiding his machoness. He needs to break this personality that he is a hero of just the teen girls.

Is Siddharth a big star already?- NO. I don't see him in news over every minor thing. He doesn't create buzz outside this forum. Don't know about future though. He is getting bigger would be the correct statement.

The statement above is my personal view.

Some facts:

EV has earned 105.6 crores according to Taran and all other trade analysts while BOI claimed it crossed 98 crores only.Believing BOI or Taran is one's individual choice and need not be questioned.

HTP was an average just like BBB not a colossal flop

Lootera was a flop and LVRB was an average grosser

Sid has done just 3 movies...he started in 2012,two yrs after Ranveer.

None of the Sid fans have ever claimed he is bigger star than Ranveer or has greater fanfollowing

Most of the Sid fans think Ranveer is better actor than Sid...the result of poll thread made for voting the better actor b/w RS and Sid is proof of that...Only thing, thats been debated here is the success ratio, B.O wise..Now this particular comparison is not THAT off the mark for some members to mock down the opinion of fans... Sid,Ranveer,Varun,Arjun and Sushant are almost at same level B.O wise..Though Ranveer is ahead of others in level of fame,buzz/hype and acting skills

It was written in this forum by other members in 4-5 posts while analyzing Ranveer's filmography that LVRB was below average/Flop...I am not a member of BOI site to confirm the results...I go by Taran Adarsh and other trade analysts...If they have called it Average,then I am gonna believe it...thanks for telling...will edit my post.
