Film has crossed lifetime business of ''Chennai Express'' and now 2nd highets grosser ever at domestic box office. Though film is behind SRK starrer in overseas and worldwide parameters. Film will be around 227.50 cr nett after 3rd week.

KICK Crosses CHENNAI EXPRESS Numbers, Now 2nd Highest Domestic Grosser Ever

Salman Khan starrer ''Kick'' was big ticket festive release. Film had huge expectations as it was 1st directorial venture of Sajid Nadiadwala and 1st release of Salman Khan after rather below par response to ''Jai Ho'' and huge pre release buzz. Film collected huge numbers in week one followed by good week two. Now film is poised to become 2nd highest grosser in 3rd week.

Film collected huge 83.83 cr nett over weekend in India and film continued to perform good numbers over weekdays. After Tuesday film was rock steady as festivities for Eid started. Film managed huge 164 cr nett plus in week one.

Film crossed 200 cr nett make in 2nd week and became highest Salman Khan grosser ever. Then film scored 3rd highest 2nd week ever with figures of 51 cr nett. Film was super strong in weekdays and no competition made it even stronger.

Film started 3rd week yesterday with reduced screen due to release of Akshay Kumar starrer ''Entertainment''. Film had now only one target and that to cross 226-227 cr nett of ''Chennai Express'' which means film will be 2nd highest grosser ever behind only ''Dhoom 3''.

Film was good on 3rd Friday and collected 1.97 cr nett and following that film jumped big on Saturday with numbers of 2.94 cr nett. Film collected big 3.92 cr nett on Sunday. Film added 8.50 cr nett in 3rd weekend. Film collected 1.69 cr nett on Monday followed by 1.35 cr nett on Tuesday. Film is heading for 15 cr nett over week 3.

In overseas market, film was good over the week and collected close to 67.50 cr nett in 18 days. Worldwide film has crossed 300 cr gross and might cross 300 cr nett too which will be 1st for Salman Khan.

Kick Collection Stable in 3rd Week.

Kick is very much stable in 3rd week despite there being a big release in Entertainment. Early trend suggest Film 3rd week collection is heading for 13+ crore nett which is just fantastic. Film has collected around 11.5 crore nett in 5 days of week 3, which is very good. Film collected around 8.5 crore nett in 3rd weekend and further 3 crore nett on 3rd Monday and 3rd Tuesday combined. Easily add another 2 crore nett for 3rd Wednesday (20th Day) and 3rd Thursday (21st Day) which is very much on expected line.

Kick total collection after 19 days is approx 226 crore nett. Film should touch 228 crore nett by the end of third week. Singham Returns is releasing on 15th August, despite that Kick should have enough ammunition to go past 230 crore nett and even Krrish 3 lifetime collection to be the second highest grosser of all time.

Kick is a Huge Blockbuster of 2014. It is also the Highest Grosser of 2014. In fact it is biggest success of the year by a mile. Literally everyone associated with the movie be it Makers, Distributors, Exhibitors, all should make big profit from the film and just laughing there way to the bank.

Collection Breakup -

1st Week - 163.7 crore nett.

2nd Week - 50.7 crore nett.

3rd Weekend - 8.5 crore nett.

3rd Monday - 1.65 crore nett.

3rd Tuesday - 1.35 crore nett.

Total - 225.9 crore nett (approx)
