^That's true! Aamir refused Darr and did not get to work with YRF, till he became a massively successful star and it was the PH which needed him rather than the other way round.

SRK on the other hand has never refused a YRF film and he always gets their best films on a platter! (I am guessing this is what Ranveer is aiming and hoping for too in the long run!😆)

So Ranbir is the next Aamir. Ranbir said no to BBB and after that YRF never signed him in any of their movies.

They have plusses and minuses.

On one hand, they're responsible for launching good actors. They give lots of people chances...give them visibility, etc. On the other hand, they do not actively promote any of their proteges...at all really. They all make a mark only through their talent and then have other things like linkups to keep them in news. Adi has advice and all, but he won't go out of his way for them like say Karan Johar will...which is both good and bad I guess.

do u expect every newbie to become big? LOL... not going to happen... YRF provides the initial breakthrough and they don't stop actors from doing movies outside studios, just that they want 3 films in total from them whenever it's possible.
Dharma is 1/100 of YRF. it has 3 actors. compare that with how many actors yrf is supporting.. people are never happy 😕

The one's directed by Yash Chopra and Adi always go to SRK first! (No matter how bad they might be, the fact is that he is their clear favorite!)

YRF is not responsible for making every discovery of theirs into a superstar...and similarly they are not responsible if their discoveries are unable to find films outside YRF!

Dharma runs like a family enterprise...whom KJo loves at the moment gets the films (Alia / Siddharth), ones who fall out of flavor don't (Kareena / SRK).

YRF, I think runs more professionally than Dharma...even if its actors don't get the kind of exposure and publicity that Dharma's actor's get, I think YRF does offer more long term sustainability!

ppl talking about shraddha, if shraddha goes down with her next few films; she doesn't have yrf support. Pari going down and still YRF will help her. there's both advantage and disadvantage. Pari was offered big actor films, she refused herself. YRF is nothing to blame for.

YRF doesnt give work to people who arent successful...whether they are their proteges or not. If Parineeti goes down tomorrow she will have to rise career wise on her own.
