this is about yash raj studios
they are knwn as the no 1 studio of india but is it true. i think this is the most bad studio to begin with for a newcomer at first they make tose 3 film deals with new stars for that reason most of them lost out good works outside the anner and after that they dont promote them corectly infact their promotional skills sucks big time .
comparatively other banners like balaji, dharma,utv they actually promote their movie and stars also wheres yash raj they only promotee thos movies which is associated with big names .
so what do you guys think about this production house

Well you are right. The actors in their films end up being typecast. They hog their dates through those stupid tax evasion films or by making them wait for the 3 film deals to materialize and they arent able to capitalize on their success. They do promote the successful ones though. Like Ranveer was promoted a lot by YRF. But nevertheless YRF is a boon for actors looking for a break as being associated with them adds to their brand value.

exactly if we see the trend then we can see that all the new ator have truely tasted success after moving out from that banner be it ranveer singh o shraddha kapoor (she even broke that deal to get a chance in ashiqui 2 and we all know that what she is today is because of ashiqui not her debut film from y films)', anushka etc.youngstars actually lose good opportunities due to that exclusive 3 film deal

I think they lock their proteges in a 3 film deal, so that if some of them become stars later, they continue to be loyal to YRF and agree to do films for them easily

But YRF makes such mediocre flicks most of the time, that it pretty much backfires

Two critical and commercial hits for them and in return she gets DEI and Kill Dil, both of which look like Tax Evasion films.

I think YRF is a great PH for a outsider to get into. I like their movies but they need to do something about marketing their product, not the actors themselves but the movies. Seems like most of their movies lack any buzz.

loose the attitude buddy.i made this tread to discuss this thing because i think association with yrf most of the time harm their career in some way.and are you talking about pari.if yes then dont bring her alone.i am referring to many other youngstars also.

akshey kumar never got to work with big houses still he is per with khans :D Srk started off his big films with YRF ...and yash chopra
