Kick Heads For Huge Total On Eid

Kick recorded extraordinary collections on Tuesday which was a national holiday and the film will surpass the 25 crore nett mark. Its unlikely to hit the 30 crore nett mark but should be around the 26 crore nett which is similar to what it did on the first two days though lower than Sunday which is expected as it is day five.

The collections showed huge jumps in areas like UP, Nizam and Bihar as was expected on Eid. These areas will have a good run for the next three days. Basically the collections are almost double of Monday at most places. UP and Nizam have gone to more than double while places like East Punjab and Delhi city will have jumps in the 50% range.

Kick is now certainly the first blockbuster of the year and is heading to be the fourth film to cross 200 crore nett after 3 Idiots, Chennai Express and Dhoom 3.

As per BOI now:

In 5 days Kick has done Ready jitna business = 95+26 = 121 Cr. Now i guess Salman/Sajid will get the clear idea as why film should not be brought on Ramzaan if u wanna chase the highest total.

No doubt Kick has done extremely well, but when u have target like D3, u need Full Audience from Day 1 not Day 5.

Now i don't have any hope of Kick beating D3, Aamir fans can now take a breath, now Chennai Express's 208 is chasable figure.

Let's See how Week 1 comes & 2nd Weekend which will give much more clear picture.

As we reported in our report Friday morning, Salman Khan starrer ''Kick'' managed very good numbers on day one. Film was released in huge 4000 plus screens in India and with increased ticket price, film was expected to score a big number on day one which happened followed by somewhat similar sort of day two and bumper Sunday followed by expected drop on Monday.

Film collected 26.50 cr nett on day one and was expected to jump on Saturday. But strangely film was again down in noon shows and jump came only after 6 PM. Film collected 27.15 cr nett on day two.

On Sunday again film started with super strong occupancy in morning but excessive rain affected shows from noon onwards in Maharashtra/Mumbai. Film is solid in Delhi, Central India and Gujarat but then film is still just good in UP, Bihar and Nizam. Film collected 30.18 cr nett on day three.

Film was hit by pre Eid Ramzaan festivities and that will peg it back by at least couple of crores. Film has collected 83.83 cr nett over weekend and this is somewhat similar to what we predicted 4 days before release.

Film started well on Monday and drop was only 40% from Friday but film failed to grow from evening onwards as rain affected collections badly in Mumbai, Rajasthan and few other centers. Film collected close to 14.41 cr nett on Monday which was a drop of 45% from Friday.

Film was good all day across the board but higher ticket prices and rain affected in few areas. Rajasthan collected close to 1.90 cr nett which was good but UP was extraordinary as audience came out in big numbers after Eid. As per early trends, film collected close to 29.25 cr nett day 5.

Film has total of In overseas market, film was good over the weekend and collected anywhere close to 21 cr nett in 4 days. Overall huge box office bonanza is on the card worldwide.

Below are the collection for the film -

Domestic Collection

Friday

26.50 cr

Saturday

27.15 cr

Sunday 30.18 cr
Monday 14.41 cr
