Dwelling on ones mistake is not good. It's better to learn from it and move on. Kareena doesn't seem to dwell on her mistakes..which is good..but am not sure if she learns from her mistakes though.

It's the way she is and I understand it's hard for her to change. Changing yourself isn't that easy.

She isn't ambitious. Makes sense why she will rather do commercial films than heroine oriented roles.

Her last answer made me giggle hehehe. But I can't believe she's trying to convince herself and others that she's a non-ambitious person. This is coming from the same person who said she won't give up her place in Bollywood easily and wants to act until she's a 100.

You have a point. But she can act until she's a 100 without being ambitious. I think she just wants to work and not worry about giving good performances..I think that's what she meant by not being ambitious. If she was really ambitious we will see her being part of great roles and films.

She was def more ambitious before than she is today.

It's obvious Kareena loves being part of commercial films because that's the type of films she likes to watch. However, I adore her as a fan that she mentioned she is reading good scripts now. ❤️

I don't think that has to do with her being ambitious, but rather passion for her craft...and what she thinks commercial heroines like her should be doing in films...ie dancing and being the love interest. She's always been ambitious in the sense that she's wanted to be #1. She has no passion for her craft. She just wants to make money to maintain her lifestyle, hence she is ok with Singham Returns and that Salman film. She won't have much of a legacy but she's done enough to ensure her kids will get decent launches when they debut.

Yes she still wants to be popular. But it's not just not having passion..she's not ambitious in terms of wanting to be the best actress. I do think she likes being appreciated for her performances though. Why else would she even sign films like Heroine or say things like she's reading scripts that have good content. She does want to leave a mark..if she didn't she wouldn't bother doing good films/scripts and roles.

She likes being appreciated for her performances, but she's happy playing the second fiddle and just dancing because she's had everything so easy her entire career...never had to work for it. Films like Heroine stemmed from the ambition and insecurity of being the best only. She saw everyone leaving her behind and gaining more respect as actors so she tried to do the same thing. But she has absolutely no idea how to judge a good film from a bad one so it backfired.

Actions speak louder than words...all actors say things just so people will get off their back. You'll see SRK starts throwing names like Anurag Basu, Anurag Kashyap, Vishal Bhardwaj when people complain too much about his films. Then he goes and signs films with Rohit Shetty, Aditya Chopra, Farah Khan only...in short proving that it was all lies 😆

She never had to work for it? You can't be serious. Yes film offers came her way easily in the beg of her career..but there was a time when no directors and producers wanted to work with her because she was giving flops after flops. She had to work hard to prove herself as a good actress.

She's doing Heroine to be the best. Well isn't that why PC and Vidya do films like Mary Kom or SKM or TDP. To be the best. So why is it that Kareena the isecure one when other actresses do the same? Kareena has done roles like Omkara and Chameli way before PC or Vidya came to Bollywood. It has nothing to do with insecurity..it has more to do with her being under pressure and being criticized for doing flowerpot roles.
