Yeah I had to bring in Parineeti cuz some Sidneeti fans have a habit of bringing down Alia and Sidlia pairing in general..I have noticed this trend not only in IF but also many other websites like Pinkvilla,twitter etc...Some of the fans bring in Alia in every other Sidneeti topic and post remarks like Sidneeti are so much better than Sidlia as they dont look like bhai-behan atleast...And when was the last time an IF topic only revolved around the celebs mentioned in articles or introduction post?

Did I say HTP failed cuz of Pari? All I mentioned was if Sidneeti pairing was as popular as ppl making it out to be,the movie would've been a hit at B.O...Thats ny view and I am free enough to state that..Then someone arrived at a conclusion it would've made no difference,if Alia played the lead role and I just opposed that


The negativity towards Sidlia pairing is appalling at timed and I felt that I have kept quiet for long now.

Well he did say in an iv that he might do Tarun's next with Anushka,

i want anushka in Bhavesh Joshi or Alia...Alia will shoot with Ranbir next year...she might have dates for Bhavesh Joshi...i dont mind anyone between alia, anushka or parineeti

i dont think Sid pari pairing should be blamed for HTP not getting a clean hit tag...the script was flawed as some reviews mentioned and the saving grace was sid-pari's chemistry...the movie went on to become an average grosser despite the flawed scrript...and i dont see how HTP fared poorly...it made 38 crore and SDR 46 crore ...i don't see much difference in the collections...Alia's highway was flop despite of excellent reviews...atleast HTP wasn't a flop...why ALia couldn't make highway a hit or even average like HTP if she is that bankable

At the end of the day i will watch sid's movie even if i will not connect with sid and his costar's chemistry b/c i m fan of sid

Kjo probably took this decision after Ek Villain..and he is right.

How can u compare a movie with serious theme and dark tones like Highway which catered to a niche audience to a pure commercial entertainer romcom like HTP?This is like compairing Lootera to YJHD!!

Also why we are doing a Sid-Pari Vs Alia here? It should be Sid-Pari Vs Alia-Randeep...Sid is surely more popular name among younger lot atleast when compared to Randeep Hooda..Also why Alia's bankability is brought into question? did I ever say she is bigger star than Pari and Sid combined?All I said was,Sidneeti's popularity as a pair is slightly overrated...In real world ppl have loved and appreciated SidShra ten folds more

Alia is considered a bankable star after recent successes of 2 states and HSKD...She wasnt much popular after SOTY to save Highway...Highway was just her 2nd movie after SOTY..It might have grabbed more moolah in B.O if it came as her 4th or 5th movie...I never intended to bring in factors like star power of actresses etc,but since others did,yes at this point Alia's movies are creating much more hype and buzz than Parineeti's
