Kareena used to be the most versatile and then I don't know what happened and she decided to start picking roles like RaOne and BG. I mean pre-JWM Kareena didn't seem to care too much about flops, but chose hatke roles like Dev and Chameli. Omkara and Kurbaan were also good, but beats me why she couldn't do more 3Idiots type roles.

Now it seems like PC is showing more versaility than Kareena. Which is a shame b/c Kareena is so effin' talented. And I also son't like Hrithik-Kareena...MPKD ruined that jodi more me. I know they are have a fanbase, but man that whole film is overacting ki overdose. 😆

As for the fans, there used to be WAY more. Like there used to way more Katrina fans before and way more PC fans too, but now there are a handful of Kareena fans and honestly most of them are such sweethearts. I personally adore Lensa and Reena and AquaBlue too. I guess Ruky is a fan and she's a doll. And Roggie is the best. They're very critical of Kareena's choices and body of work but also debate in the most respectful manner. So no complains there--honestly one of the better fangroups on IF.

If she mattered in real life she wouldn't be such a flop queen as she is.

The only times I saw craze for Bebo in real life was in 2001 after Mujhe kuch kehna hai and K3G. And in 2007 after JWM.

I have seen her liked more for glamour than acting.

@Hetal: Aww thank you 🤗..Yes Kareena fans are mostly seen lamenting over her movie choices and feeling dejected about how she isnt serious or passionate about her career like in the past...She doesnt give us too many opportunities to praise her nowadays 😆..I wish I could be as balanced and precise like you while put forwarding my views though! 😳

If not she were an industry kid, Kareena would have been out of business long back. She isn't career driven as much now. Her recent duds speak volumes like Satyagraha and GTPM. Her upcoming movies aren't even exciting. Her 2 mins presence in Singham trailer shows it. Moreover she's being approached for flower pot roles like in Singh is Bling etc. In the recent years all her successes came because of big hero films. She merely played a prop to the heroes. Heroine was a flop commercially and I don't know how much of a success it was critically.

She's basically overhyped on this forum, I say this because I see her being praised for her long forgotten roles even now. She didn't have a proper hit. Her career is on a brink.

Her contemporaries like PC has been more innovative. She was even boycotted from Akshay and SRK's films but yet she kept her front and is being touted in the top 5 heroines. Katrina can't act to save her life yet she has been in the top for so long.

That's what I have been saying and these people come in here and write essays proving her versatility referring to movies like Bodyguard and EMAKT.😆 Though she's a decent actress, her stardom is like nil. It's finished, otherwise a 15 yrs something into the industry and still she couldn't pull the audience. Deepika who has achieved success between 2 years has astounding stardom, if not for her I don't think a movie like Ramleela could even become a hit, at the time when Ranveer didn't have a clear hit.

Kareena has fans outside of this forum too. If she didn't she wouldn't have been included in every popularity polls...even though her career is all time low now. Also, on twitter...she has a lot of fans..even though Kareena is not on twitter.

We kareena fans don't hype her much. Last time I recall I was wondering why Alia looks up to Kareena instead of an actor like PC who balances her commercial and critical acclaim pretty well right now.

And I disagree with members who think Vidya has more memorable roles than Kareena. Vidya seems like she has more memorable roles because she debuted after bebo...so her films/performances are more memorable to people.

Kareena best performances include: JWM, Omkara, Chameli, Kurbaan, Chup Chup Ke, Yuva, Dev, Refugee, EMAET, Heroine, and Talaash. So how does Vidya have better performances?

That said...YES VIDYA's script sense is much much better than Bebo's. I think that's why majority feel Vidya is better. Vidya's film choices make her look good.

If ppl are including Vidya in BB where her acting was OTT and mediocre IMO..am including bebo in Heroine too.

Kareena and Vidya have equal amount of good performances. But both can't match up to PC...because her roles are actually challenging...eg Barfi and WYR.
