Ranbir enjoys water sports in Corsica
After Katrina's cameo in Corsica for Ranbir, its Ranveer's turn to make a special appearance for Deepika.
Ranbir Kapoor is having an eventful time in Corsica, an island in the south of France where he is shooting for Imtiaz Ali's romantic drama Tamaasha. While he is holed up there for 20 days with former flame and co-star Deepika Padukone, current date Katrina Kaif dropped by on July 15 to bring in her birthday with her beau.
Contrary to reports, Kat and RK didn't fly off to another island for some quality time together. "The island is large enough for them to be away from the prying eyes. Dashing to Nice, the nearest port, wasn't advisable since Katrina had to leave the next day for London for Kabir Khan's Phantom. Besides Imtiaz made it clear that he didn't want his hero to be distracted as there is a lot of work to finish," a source from the unit said.
However, it isn't all work and no play for RK. A source informed Mirror that the actor had time off during the weekend.
"So, water baby Ranbir whisked everyone out to sea for some water sports. Imtiaz who's not a sea person, steered clear," said the source.
After Katrina's cameo, the unit is now getting ready to welcome Ranveer Singh who 's expected to drop by to meet his lady love, Deepika, who had spent 10 days with him in Barcelona in June.
Added the source, "There's still 10 days to go before the shoot wraps up on July 30. Ranveer, who will be shooting a commercial in Bucharest, is planning to take a detour t o Corsica before flying back to India."
