Doing different genre is different to being expressive.

Everyone has different point of view..varun is good in comedy roles and sid suits intense type of role..It depends on ur choice that u like bubbly characters or intense characters

I feel Varun is more natural in whatever he does than Sid is and at this stage, I feel he's the better actor. Sid has made quite a bit of progress from his HTP and SOTY days. That aside, from the comments in this thread, I'm glad that people are realizing that playing bubbly roles and playing serious roles are both challenging and you have to work hard to be convincing for both.

I'd like to see Sid doing a Humpty or MTH and see how he does. Or Varun doing an Ek Villain - I guess the Raghavan film will tell. I liked his bad boy bits at the end of SOTY. This is why I admire someone like Ranveer Singh so much - he impressed me with both a Band Baaja Baraat and a Lootera 👍🏼

BTW TM, I love that you loved Humpty. I enjoyed it thoroughly as well and thought Varun was absolutely mesmerizing in the film :) Effortless, genuine and sensitive. 😊 And yeah, I agree, his offscreen personality rocks. I just love this goofball. Also, his co-stars are so at ease around him and he's always doing some masti. Also, his fan interactions are too qweets and his dynamicness and energy is off the chart :)

Just because you follow BOI, doesn't mean that makes them the governing body of box office collections. It's very well possible they are wrong. In fact they are wrong and that's a fact

I don't think the EV team is stupid to have a party with big words like 100 crores posted on the poster for no reason. They're not delusional and they're not on drugs
