I saw EV and HSKD I have an unbiased opinion of them for me Varun stood out his connection with the character and acting is much better than Sid in his films. Sid does not express properly his expressions and delivery are disconnected. i know sid's hype is more in the forum but Varun is the dark horse after HSKD!

Sorry I have to disagree. I think Sid is the slightly stronger actor. In HSKD he couldn't even cry properly...I could not connect with him at all. Even the family sitting behind us couldn't hold their laughter when he was crying.

Sidd and Varun are still bachas in the industry. They have a long way to go. But I def prefer Sidd.

VD is a good dancer I watched him and Alia in Comedy nights with kapil yesterday he is very natural his dancing skill is one more advantage, Sid needs to loosen up he is mechanical on and offscreen

The fact Varun's crying scene was most realistic compared to those who need glycerine to make themselves convincing

Critics rated Varun's performance top class.

I agree with u...Sid lacks intense in his looks/expressions... His role in VILLIAN fails to express it..

Sid is very expressive with his eyes similar to SRK, he is brilliant in emotional and intense scenes compared to the newer actors.

Varun is too OTT, I can't see him do roles like EV, Lootera, Barfi, etc

He's only good in those romantic comedy types movies.

Sid is also limited but better than Varun for sure!
