On topic, well I will always pick Sid over Varun anyday. Sid is my type of guy. Personally, I think he has improved so much as an actor. I loved him in EV. Trying not to be biased, but he was the show stealer for me. And on top of that his looks and his calm, real personality just adds to my liking for him. I like that he's so calm, sorted and relatable in his interviews. And the best part for me is his drive and dedication to work hard and make it big. He knows where to put his energy and he does exactly that. Here's hoping he makes it huge in this industry.

MATE!!! BOI has the data and keeps the record and they don't change the collections. Hence they share collections with Mojo.

Hence even Aashiqui grossed 100cr in terms of gross collections which is why ZEE awarded them for 100cr film 😆& so did SOS, Race 2, Grand Masti & Singham, but none crossed 100cr net wise

The fact is. Producers figure reach to media as they want their film look like a major success. Distributors and exhibitors figures are often what BOI has. Go follow them Exhibitors & Distributors who has more clear idea on BO than trades analysts like Taran

On topic, as I said on the Humpty thread, I always found Varun to be a better actor than Sid. He comes across natural on screen. But Sid has shown a lot of growth from SOTY till EV. So now, I enjoy both of them on screen.

Okay lets say for a second that you're right.

Were you a part of the management of the Zee Awards? How do you know what their criteria for giving a film a 100 crore award is? Maybe they were counting collections based on WORLDWIDE basis, in that case all of those films you mentioned would hypothetically be 100-crore films/

However, I think everyone and their brother knows that SOS, Race2, GM, Singham were 100-crore hits domestically. EVERYONE knows that. Why would these movies be "randomly" selected to be "100 crore movies", if they're gonna lie...then why these movies and why not others?

In terms of you saying, fans will support sources that state higher collections. No. BOI has been known to be changing around collections and being shady.

I really don't care who follows BOI and who doesn't. Lots of people follow lots of ridiculous things, that doesn't mean anything

Dude. Get it right.

There is difference between GROSS & NETT collections. The criteria was 100cr domestically. Coz worldwide - often more than 15 movies crosses the figure of 100cr annually now
