Saswat Mukherjee was splendid in Kahaani. Just the right mix of terror & friendliness. His character was all the more chilling because he looked completely harmless & in-conspicuous.

PN was of course, fantastic too, but he looked the part. Which am sure he was meant to.

Next, Urmila Mantondkar. 👏 she was beyond awesome & is one of the more under-rated actresses in Bollywood. She gave me the BIGGEST FRIGHT in Kaun & that movie is easily the scariest that I've seen!!!! Very under-rated thriller (horror?) by RGV & one of the defining movies in my IMO, in Urmila's career.

WHY doesn't she do a good movie. 😒

Finally, Ashutosh Rana. His blood-shot eyes & the red saree had me awake for a long, long time after I watched Sangharsh.

It didn't help that I was 9 at the time & imagined myself at the Goddess's altar. 😆

He is on number 4 in the list. His name is Ashutosh Rana.

The movie you are referring to is called "Dushman", I think.

I first saw Ashutosh Rana in that movie and I still can't get it out of my head.

I watched Sangarsh about 1 or 2 years ago and seeing him again playing such a character reminded me of his role in Dushman.

He is one of the finest actors in BW, IMO, even better than Irfan Khan (who people hail as the best in BW).

Only Ashutosh Rana! He was so terrifying. I still can't get that image out of my mind. The evil and menace lies in his eyes which he uses so well.

Cut to 2014 and Ashutosh Rana is starring in romcom Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania hahah!

Urmila is so f***in brilliant at performing all those neurotic characters you'd think she has issues of her own in real life.

Ashutosh Rana was too terrifying. Bob Biswas was adorable type of Serial killer.😆 Urmila was fab too.

I totally agree w/the top 3, Urmila was great in Kaun but her being on this list is such a huge spoiler to everyone who hasn't seen the movie.

Urmila spooked me so much i literary gotten a heart attack...i saw the original version where the white titles appear after the last scene and trust me that will scare you even more.

i am glad i did not watch it in theatre.

wht white titles ??? the end credits...but that's every film carries...😕

no...those titles say abt what she is...she is mentally sick and she had been killing lots of people, she was arrested and found ill and they are trying to find out who is SHE ? this spooked me even more😲

Urmi at top... Totally deserving... She was deprived of some awards too especially Pinjar...

But she was beyond fab in Kaun and amazing in Bhoot...
Ashutosh Rana is a darn good actor wonder why he stopped getting movies...
