She has argubaly delivered two of the best performances in recent times with TDP and Kahaani by a female actress. But With her last few releases bombing at the BO and there being very little or no buzz surrounding Bobby Jasoos at all, is Vidya over?

I don't think there's much interest surrounding vidya anymore, her career sadly appears to be as good as over. She doesn't apapeal for the masala,commercial films that Bollywood thrives on. I feel she made a huge mistake rejecting Durga Rani.

P.S: I do think she's one of the best actresses in Bollywood and can do what other actresses can only dream of.

sadly, an actress is as good as her last boxoffice status. Since her last film flopped..the buzz around her had died down. but I wouldn't say her career is over..just her time being at the top is over for now until she delivers another good performance or a hit.

I don't think her career is over even if bobby Jasoos fails she still have humari adhuri kahani which I think will be a hit, so I think she has chances to bounce back.

I hope bobby Jasoos will be a hit

Not Yet... As she is known for doing different movies unlike flowerpot roles and BW have stories for ladies other than flowerpot ones

Depends on Mohit Suri film. He's on a high after A2 and EV so it could work and she'll be back in the game. But if it tanks, it'll be hard for her to make a comeback.

She is a very limited actress, can only do certain type of roles,

she is a huge fail in light hearted films.

it is not just about her films flopping but also that she has been awful in her latest films and bobby jasoos offers nothing new.

the thing is Vidya did 2-3 good roles and that's it, she was never a star or powerful, she can't offer anything different.

Hopefully everything changes with Bobby Jasoos. She had made quite a few bad decisions with Ghanchakkar and SKSE I guess. She was good in SKSE, bad in Ghanchakkar but had nothing new to offer in both the films.
I still have some faith in Bobby Jasoos. Her various get ups might be something new for the audience.

She has become kind of annoying for me with her acting. To survive, she needs to choose her roles very wisely. She can excel in Kahaani type serious roles. TDP was just a lucky role because no one had dared to do such a thing before. SKSE, Ghanchakkar were just bad.

However, she can still hang on as Mohit's upcoming movie sounds interesting.
