Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do' might now be underway but , initially, it is well known that she was keen on casting Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan as reel siblings in the film - roles which are now being played by Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra. Recently, Kapoor Khan revealed by she chose not to sign the film.

According to India Today, Kapoor Khan said, "Zoya's film required me to give 90 days. I can't be away on some cruise from home and my family for three months for an outdoor shoot. I do not wish to work that way anymore".

"Now I like to work with people who are willing to adjust their schedules according to my needs," she added.

The actress also said that she is now doing films because of the story as opposed to just taking them up as favours to friends.

^^ I agree. Have we not seen enough actresses burning out because of their obsession with limelight and not important things in life? If she wants a family, she should definitely go for it. If she wants to focus on her marriage, she definitely should.

I worked full time for last 13 years and now with 2 really young kids I can't go to a work place and work. I work out of home 80% of my time as am very upfront with my employers that I can't work full time from office and I can work only if that can be accommodated.

Will I miss out on good chances and good pay? I might. Do I care? No.

Am I arrogant? Heck no. I will sue if any prospective employer calls me that.

That said... Why this sounds arrogant is maybe the use of the word "some cruise". She could have avoided that... But that said she's never too good with words. I think she just thought in Hindi and transliterated to English which makes it sound arrogant.

Kareena just doesn't have the drive anymore..Its obvious..And she just said she'd rather work with ppl who adjust the schedule according to her needs..Not like she is forcing ppl to do so..Whats the big deal? 😆 And i still think she rejected DDD after Ranbir backed out cos she din wanna play sister to a young and upcoming actor..She probably thought that would dent her image 😕 Typical Bebo 😆
