Wrong? 😆, it is the most evidential theory in science, fully accepted by the scientific community, this includes both theist and non-theist scientists.

And Elixir is right to an extent, or maybe she just didn't phrase it properly, we do share an ape-like ancestor, but that's with the chimpanzees, but as far as Homosapiens are concerned, the earliest modern humans were in East Africa, everyone alive today can trace their lineage back to a band of 200-300 people who were the first to successfully venture out of the African continent.
