ur sentiments about the various aspects of this movie r ur personal opinion which i not questioned at all as ever1 is entitled to their own.
and as u wrongly took the impression of me trying to order others and imposing my views...well, u took me all wrong. plz reread my posts, i simply stated that every1 has different tastes and those who have a different taste then urs or others should not be laughed at or mocked. i guess it was a pretty non judgemental simple and universally acceptable statement, and in no way an order or a try to impose my personal beliefs on others.

Let's agree to disagree, I don't agree with whatever views you have about the film, so Iet's end it here. 😊

ofcourse, lets respect each others opinions. but i never shared any view in particular about vivaah.. i just stated some realities , that vivaah is a fictional movie, based in a fictional town and is about one household, hence it possibly cannot depict the reality of all towns and all households in india...and hence should not be criticized for that, as its not some reality based documentary. only a rajshree style halki phulki family love story, which obviously cannot be a taste for each and every viewer.

I hate it.🤢
To be honest I have never been able to watch it at a stretch. Watch it in bits and pieces and quit.

Other characters SB films like Nisha at least have spark. Amrita cannot even raise her eyes or voice. And her fav author is? Some lambey naam wala Sanskrit or Bengali likhari!
That insane insecurity of her step mom over complexion is sick.😡 Making darker one feel inferior and fairer one feel guilty!

I hate how SB has rich, educated guys go to villages and small towns to seek above literate and 100% gharelu wife.

This was 40s stuff. Not even 80s.

Extremely regressive.🤢

I forgot to include this. That was really insane and pushes the already parochial Indian society to be more influenced more by this nonsense.
