I would take vivah over today shitty rom coms. It was a pain to watch shitty hasee toh pasee, shud desi romance, and can name so many shit rom coms.

Vivah wasn't a master piece but it was better than many movies which released that year. And no way sooraj is overrated. That director always made good movies minus prem ki deewani hoon.

Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum aapke hain kaun, Hum Saat Saat hain were amazing movies and now looking forward to Prem Ratan Dhan Payo

No only Vivah, I find all SB's movies slowpace, sugar coated, goody goody and sleep inducing. I won't say his movies are shitty but I do find them highly overrated. Let's see how his venture Prem Ratan Jo Bhi Payo or something like that would turn out to be.

It was outdated but i liked it .Infact Vivah is the biggest hit of Shahid Kapoor's career . Sooraj might be overrated/outdated etc but except MPKDH every movie of his is a BB . How can many director has this feat ?

I haven't seen it. I run away from such movies.. You won't believe but i've also not seen MPK, HAHK and HSSH. I can't stand such lovey dovey sugar coated family drama movies since my childhood 😆

btw there was also a sequel of this movie Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi..I've heard it was the shitiest movie of Rajshree even worse than MPKDH. It had around 15 songs. A song almost after every scene 😆
