@tm: i said in this in oder thread too, salman is not stopping oder talented people to come to the fore...he recommends the people he is supprting,he dont put dem down the throat of the filmmakers or the directors...many directors and producres have rejected salman's recommendations because someone else was much bettre or fitted the role.

salman just guides people to make it big in the industry..like giving tips on body and on the type of films dey shud take up,the directors dey shud approach because he knws the ins and outs of this field...he recommends also but dont force anyone...BTW salman helps many outsiders also...

its just dat star kids knw salman and dey put deir foot into bolly through salman becoz dey knw salman wud help dem wholeheatedly and genuinely without thinking abt any competition

its amazing how u people can put every blame on him...

Want to blame someone who shovels starkids in ? How about KJO ? If Alia had not done Highway, I doubt anyone would think she is talented. Sid is a pretty block of wood and IMO Varun and Arjun are at the same level. Now he may introduced Sridevi's kid, there a whole boat load of Kapoor kids coming. KJO may have a hand in all that. So if you blame Salman, blame KJO and to a certain extent Adi too because he ultimately gave Arjun the break, not Salman.

Say when a star kid's movie is coming and he is billed as salman's boy some people will be excited to see. Even producers know this is a good marketing tool to promote their film. Since 2000 only 2 guys have become superstars. Hritik and Ranbir. Rest are still trying to get there. (not my opinion, box-office india's statement). There is a reason why audience is not prepared to let these 3 khans go. There is noone to take their place. Had a new comer with a complete package like Hritik got a proper launching, I am sure we would be having more super stars now.

If we see from far away, bollywood has loads and loads of male actors. But once we get nearer we see there is an immense shortage. If this wasn't true, actors like Shahid Kappor would have packed their bags much early.

I dont blame producers or salman khan because at the end of the day everybody will do what helps them. Producers can use this as a marketing gimmick, and salman can use this to increase his goodwill. I was stating an observation that this is just making it extremely difficult for new comers. Those 2 who got a chance have made a name for themselves.

Well Salman doesn't direct movies. He just started producing them. So its not a question about who is launching them. I am talking about this godfather stuff.
