It was a decent movie but what was the point? Like i cant even tell what was its genre..was it horror..supernatural or just a thriller?

What was its message to be more specific

And by message i dont mean a social message..more like its USP

Why do people here make it as a bad movie?

I think Talaash was a brilliant movie. Atleast, it was far far better and superior than Dhoom 3. The story was finely told, everyone acted so well in the movie, right from Kareena, Rani, Amir, Nawazuddin and all the other cast.

Yes, its not your average BW movie, the narration was different. You cannot exactly place it in one genre. But the closest would be supernatural thriller.

Even as the movie ends, it leaves you wondering about whether ghosts truly exist or are they a manifestation of our disturbed minds? And leaves the question unanswered which BW movies normally don't do it.

And it has accurately portrayed the pain of parents who lose their kids, the lives of prostitutes and a human side to them and the reality of how justice is denied to the poor people most of the times.

It was a decent movie. At least 50times better than Dhoom 3. Still the concept was good but execution was little poor I thought. Moreover my friend went for the morning show and posted in the group that Kaarena is bhoot. So half of the fun was out.
