Why do people here make it as a bad movie?
I think Talaash was a brilliant movie. Atleast, it was far far better and superior than Dhoom 3. The story was finely told, everyone acted so well in the movie, right from Kareena, Rani, Amir, Nawazuddin and all the other cast.
Yes, its not your average BW movie, the narration was different. You cannot exactly place it in one genre. But the closest would be supernatural thriller.
Even as the movie ends, it leaves you wondering about whether ghosts truly exist or are they a manifestation of our disturbed minds? And leaves the question unanswered which BW movies normally don't do it.
And it has accurately portrayed the pain of parents who lose their kids, the lives of prostitutes and a human side to them and the reality of how justice is denied to the poor people most of the times.
