From some of the recent threads about madhuri, failed actors, career choices, etc some of the replies are pretty much the same

-> Who are you to judge them

-> Who are you to tell them to change their careers

-> Its their life

-> You are nobody to comment about them

and so on. I hope you get the point.

My question is then what is the point of this forum? Are we only allowed to say whether the movie was bad or good. Whether the performance was bad or good?

Also lets not forget some one the people who made these above comments are the same who said pareeneti is looking horrible in KJOs party. OH my, what is Vidya wearing. She should fire her stylist.

As a fan of bollywood movies, why don't I have a right to form an opinion and express it? We are here to discuss about everything related to bollywood. Nobody is abusing these stars. We are properly putting our points. Like myself you too have right to disagree but do it in an appropriate way. Either tell me why you disagree or just simply state I disagree or don't even post. Justing posting stuff like its their career, you cant judge is not a logical discussion. Or is it?

If fans wouldnt form an opinion, every actor would be in same category. There won't be any hits or flops. All movies will collect equal amount of money. People like Uday Chopra, Fardeen Khan would still very much be present in bollywood.

When a guy like Abhishek Bachhan is asked to retire, then no one bats an eye. But when maduri is asked to retire people starts like OP is being sexist. Why cant a mother in her 50s work as a lead actress. How is that being sexist? Its just a view point of the OP and he has expressed it. He didn't say that all women aged 50 and above should retire from the industry. Only male actors should work. He is clearly pointing towards a lady and giving his reasons. Why the need for unnecessary accusations?

Going by your logic then the people who are saying "Who are you to judge them" have the same right as the people who are doing the judging, so what's the point of your thread?

Let me try to put it this way. I say Arjun kapoor is the worst actor.

You reply saying, no I am wrong he has done some good movies.

You see you are making a point here.

if you reply "who are you to judge him"

then you are asking why am I passing comments on him?

and I have explained why in my OP.

But don't I have the right to write whatever I want? Asking you who are you to judge isn't attacking it's simple question and one has the right to ask, just like you have the right to answer or not. Once we start restricting what we can and can't say, we are contradicting the whole point of the forum.
