Raees' next schedule to begin in October

The first schedule of Raees, that stars Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan in lead roles, was wrapped up in early June.

SRK, who is working simultaneously on Rohit Shetty's Dilwale (which is slated to release this Christmas) has allotted dates in October for the second schedule of the film. For now, Dilwale takes precedence over Raees for King Khan given its slated release date.

Meanwhile, our source from Raees' production unit informs that the film has shaped up rather well so far. The Pakistani actress Mahira, who stars opposite SRK, took a while to get accustomed to the mores Bollywood follows, but once she did, she was absolutely bang on.

After his noticeable performance in the Movie Tanu weds Manu returns and the recent release All Is well, actor Mohhamed Zeeshan Ayyub is on a roll as the actor has bagged two most anticipated film's and that is Kabir Khan's Phantom and Shahrukh Khan starrer Raees.

When asked about his role in Raees the actor who although didn't reveal much said that we can expect to watch him play the kind of role Pappiji' played in the movie Tanu weds Manu. The actor, who has played best friends to Dhanush and Imran Khan in Raanjhanaa and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, will be again playing best friend but this time to the Badshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan in Raees.

Zeeshan who is also a part of the upcoming movie Phantom says he is very excited about the movie. Zeeshan says, "I play a raw agent in Phantom. My character is an integral part of the movie; you can say my character is the brain of the movie."

Zeeshan Ayyub was seven when Shah Rukh Khan made his debut, and he says working with the superstar after years of admiring him off screen has been a surreal experience.

The actor, known for playing best friend Murari in Raanjhanaa, will be seen sharing screen space with Shah Rukh in his forthcoming coming film Raees.

"Working with him has been outstanding. He has been my childhood hero. When I was seven-eight-year-old, he had made his entry in Bollywood. So when I was growing up, getting to understand things, it was Shah Rukh sir whom I thought as my hero," he told PTI.

Zeeshan, who made his debut in 2011 with No One Killed Jessica and has worked in more than ten films so far, says he has never seen anybody as hardworking a his Raees co-star.

"Shah Rukh is unbelievably humble and down to earth. It is an absolute surreal experience to sit with him and share screen space. I have never seen anyone work so hard in my entire life. He rehearses every scene as many as 15-20 times.

He is the most intelligent person I have ever met." Zeeshan says he has learnt about hard work from Shah Rukh.

"The one thing which I learnt from him is hard work. He has taught me a lot about life in general. How to handle success and failure, the mindset to have while you are working on a film. His outlook towards life is really admirable.

"The day he tweeted about me, I couldn't sleep for the entire night. It was the most fulfilling and rewarding experience in life."

The actor will be seen playing Shah Rukh's friend in the Rahul Dholakia-directed film, which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan.

"It is not a typical character though. He is a very positive zone friend who is important to the screenplay. I am enjoying the role." said Ayyub.

Shah Rukh Khan to Mahira Khan: We will look good together in 'Raees'

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has assured Pakistani actress Mahira Khan that they will make a good on-screen couple in their upcoming crime-thriller Raees.

The movie, being directed by Rahul Dholakia, will mark Mahira's Bollywood debut. Shah Rukh's sweet message for the 30-year-old 'Humsafar' actress came after Mahira shared her reaction to a recent Shah Rukh-Kajol still from their movie Dilwale.

Mahira, who has been open about her admiration for Shah Rukh, had tweeted, "Ufff!You both, Uff!" to which the 49-year-old Chennai Express star replied, "@TheMahiraKhan just saw your tweet. 'Uff' we will look good in Raees too. Hope all is well with you and family."

Dilwale brings back Bollywood's iconic on-screen couple of Shah Rukh and Kajol after a gap of five years. They last worked together in filmmaker Karan Johar's My Name Is Khan (2010). It will hit theatres this December 18. Raees, meanwhile, is set for a July 8 release.

Raees To Wrap In January

Shah Rukh Khan said more than once in the recent past that he wants to do more films, that is, two to three films a year. He said he was looking for an out-of-the-box script. But it looks like he is already on track. This year, Khan was working on three films - Dilwale, FAN and Raees. Dilwale releases in December, while FAN is almost complete and releases in April next year.

Khan will start working on Raees as soon as Dilwale releases and he keeps his commitments for the promotions. Once Dilwale is out in cinemas by the end of December, the mega star will start shooting the last schedule of Raees, directed by Rahul Dholakia. The film will wrap by January end. Which means the film gets a good six months for post-production as it is all set to release during Eid 2016.
