Its fake news. Jackie already denied it. Shoot already started in Mumbai as you can see from the Zoom video. Rk.net also confirmed the schedule.

Katrina Kaif To Wrap 'Jagga Jasoos' With Ranbir Kapoor After
'Fitoor' Delay

Delay in kick-start of Fitoor has
worked in favor for Katrina Kaif.
She would now be able to move
on to Jagga Jasoos much faster
and wrap the film earlier, so as to
be ready with the film's release in
August next year.
"Katina was all set to join Aditya
Roy Kapur and Rekha for the
shoot of Fitoor in Kashmir in
October. However, the floods jeopardized the shooting plans. Director
Abhishek Kapoor and others associated with the film felt that it didn't
make sense to stick to the original plans when the valley was still in the
process of settling down to normalcy. Though it earlier seemed
that Fitoor would eventually kick-start in November or December, it is
now crystal clear that it won't be before January when the cast would
be summoned for the shoot," informs our source.
Suddenly it had seemed that Katrina Kaif would be in a fix, what with
her date diary being impacted due to unforeseen circumstances.
"However this time around it has worked in her favor. Jagga
Jasoos too has made slow progress so far and only a few montage
sequences have been shot so far. (Director) Anurag Basu makes a
world of his own and since he is still setting up the milieu and the
ambience, the dialogue portions are yet to kick-start. The moment
Katrina's dates seemed available this year due to moving ahead of
Fitoor , it was pronto decided that she would be able to invest time on
Jagga Jasoos instead. It has been like a blessing in disguise as her
dates won't go for a toss and the film would finally manage to speed
up," our source adds.
This would make it some really busy times ahead for Katrina as she is
already at the peak of Bang Bang promotion. Soon she steps into the
shoot of Jagga Jasoos and later begins work on Fitoor . Post that she
has Phantom lined up for April, for which she has to wrap up the
shoot and then also indulge in extensive promotion.
When contacted, Katrina confirmed, "Yes, Fitoor is going ahead to
next year and I would now be busy with the shoot of Jagga Jasoos . It
is something totally different from what I have done so far. It is
Anurag Basu all the way."

Ranbir-Katrina to spend three months together travelling in India and overseas as they shoot for their next film

Over the next three months, lovebirdsRanbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will be shooting together as they complete the final schedule for Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos in Mumbai, Manipur and Thailand.

Says a source, "The film's first schedule (July-August) was in Cape Town, South Africa. The second schedule begins in Mumbai this month with Ranbir and Katrina. After which they head for Thailand and Manipur. Katrina has been busy withBang Bang promotions while Ranbir has been shooting for Tamasha with Deepika Padukone. The couple are looking forward to spending time on the set together."

Incidentally, this will be the first time a Bollywood film has been given permission to shoot in Manipur and took a year to come through..

RK, who is co-producing this film does not have a film releasing in 2014. However, he will have two releases next year. Bombay Velvet has completed shooting, and will release first.JJ's co-producers would at least a two-month gap between both films. Director Anurag Basu confirms, "Jagga's final schedule begins this month and ends in December. After that, the film will be complete. It will have Ranbir and Katrina and shooting in Mumbai, Manipur and then for a week in Thailand. The two will be present for shooting throughout till December. Shooting in the jungles of Manipur will be gruelling considering there are no luxurious resorts there. It's going to be tough for everybody."

Kahani mein twist?
Rumours and reports have been doing the rounds that Govinda has been replaced by Jackie Shroff in JJ. This buzz surfaced after the former reportedly interfered with the film's script and had been missing from the set for two days after suffering a hand injury, during the Cape Town schedule. Basu calls these rumours "rubbish" and wonders where they're coming from, "Govinda has completed the first schedule with us and begins the next with us in November. There's a twist in the tale, so I can't reveal much except that he plays Ranbir's father in the film."

However, Govinda avers, "I have no issues about playing a father or even a grandfather, but in Jagga..., I am not playing Ranbir's father. He goes on to add, "I've been hearing negative stories about me being unprofessional on the sets ever since I joined the film industry 30 years ago and am sure vested interests are at work in spreading them. I have spoken to Anurag and he has assured me that I am very much there in the film. It is an exciting role."

On January 20, Pritam had told Mirror that he was desperate for
a vacation. The workaholic composer had not taken time off even
for his wedding and after almost a decade, was keen to take a
break to recharge his batteries. With this in mind, he has not
signed a single new film since last October. And after wrapping up
Shaadi Ke Side Effects and Holiday in mid-May, he has been on a
real holiday, which he had hoped to continue till mid-November.

But an SOS from Anurag Basu has cut short his best-laid plans
and he has to return to Mumbai and work. "The second schedule of
Jagga Jasoos begins on October 13 and will continue till December
during which 90 per cent of the film will be wrapped up as Ranbir
(Kapoor) doesn't have dates to spare thereafter. I've composed two
romantic tracks but since the film is a musical with 20-odd songs
"small ditties that carry forward a conversation"I need to give
at least seven more songs by the year end," admits the music
director, talking to Mirror from Singapore.

He points out that earlier, for Metro and Barfi!, they'd locked the
music at the end, in the case of the latter, 15 days before the
audio release. "Anurag had picturised all the songs for Barfi!
without any of the songs and later admitted that it had been a
good idea. But this time, woh lip-sync mein phas gaya hai. He
needs half the songs by this year. The rest we can hold till May
when he will wrap up the film," explains Pritam.
