Heropanti had a good opening weekend at the box office. The film starring newbie Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanonsaw a great jump on its third day. After raking in 6.50 crores on Friday, 6.35 crores on Saturday and 8.15 crores on Sunday, it had a solid first weekend collection of 21 crores at the domestic box office.

Sunday saw a great footfall for Heropanti at majority of the circuits including Mumbai and other metros. The film has crossed the opening weekend figures of Yaariyan which was 19 crores. Yaariyan too being a new age, youth centric story, starring debutantes had a good run at the box office and same can be expected from Heropanti.

If the film keeps a steady pace over the week, Heropanti can mange to put up a decent one week figure at the domestic box office. With the rave reviews that the film's lead pair have received from the film fraternity,Heropanti is expected to soar over the week.

The jokes on Tiger are getting really annoying but he's just smiling through it all. I hope he remains as down to earth as he is at the moment.

The actual movie turned out to be one of the best entertaining movies I've seen in a long time from Bollywood. Not a single boring moment, the pace up was built up really well so you were curious to see what happened next even if it was predictable. It's actually far better than the typical masala Akshay & Salman flicks we have been watching for the past few years.

Tiger is a star, no 2 ways about it. Does he need to improve on his acting? Yes he does but I'm so sure he will! He has a special aura about him and he can act but just needs to brush up on certain aspects. Kriti Sanon, I think I've just fallen in love with her. She nailed it completely...! Not only is she beautiful but she acts so gracefully and has a screen presence which just grabs your attention. Hope she picks the right scripts because she can go far.

So glad the movie has done so well :))

OK. So , I caught this movie this weekend . and I must say , the best part of the movie is tiger n kirti . tiger has amazing screen presence ! When he is on screen , he really gets ur attention. He is fabolous in action scenes n dance Is very good. Interestingly , he is given awkward dialogues like heropanti ...sabko aati nahi ,mmeri jaati nahi ..they sound cheesy on paper but he mouths them v nicely. Movie is very well paced n there is not even a single dull moment . says a lot for the new kids. Also, I liked prakash raj as the dad who loves His daughters so much n still is very conventional in his thinking . he has done a fine act !

Also, other actors like tigers friends , guy who player rajjo n jeejaji r good !n also the cameo by sunil grover aka guththi is fun! Lol

I somehow hate prabhu deva movies n also don't like any of rohit shetty movies apart from golmaal series. N i hated sabbir khans kambhskt ishq!!!

But this is the first time , I wasn't irritated by anything in the movie!

Also, after a long time, there is a guy like tiger who has right amount oif charm, dancing skills n most importantly innocence on his face!

Kirti is good too n has an amazing figure n acts well.

Both of them , if given right opportunities, will really go on to do well.

I hope they pick the right scripts !!!

N PS: the jokes on tiger r dull n annoying ! V shud b happy that there is a talented star kid ...who has potential to be a star himself !! I find him much better than varun or sid malhotra ..my choice!

Heropanti had the seventh highest weekend of the year till date and was ahead of Hasee Toh Phasee by around 2.50 crore which has a similar cost to Heropanti. All the films above Heropanti apart from Ragini MMS 2 are more costly by at least 40%.

Overall the top three films have seen a holiday over the first weekend and it is probably Ragini MMS 2 which beat its expected initial by the biggest margin..

The wait still remains for that one big weekend and it should come in the second half of the year. Below are the domestic top ten opening weekends of 2014.

Watched it last day though I have already watched Its Telugu version so kinda knew everything about story which somehow spoilt the real fun but still a good time pass..Tiger was brilliant, His stunts & Dance moves were killing 👏 surely a better star material than soty boys😆 & Kriti Sanon was beautiful.❤️ actually I went for this movie mainly cos of her.😛

That Kirti was beautiful in an X factor kinda way was evident from promos. Now if people say

she can ACT too, yayyy!!! cheers for the future miss deepika, ash, madhuri brand of

heroine...10 on 10 in looks and can act too...woo hoo

As for Tiger, he is different all right, he looks like no other hero in the annals of Bollywood.

itna gora chikna..and that face. welcome to Bollywood, Kirti and Tiger!!!
