Directors have muses and they tend to stick to them. Karan didn't really start producing films with other directors until much later (at that time Salman wasn't doing well). Plus, Karan doesn't make the kind of films Salman likes to do now.

I wil always blame srk for ruining movies for 15 years for me.. Growing up in late 80s early 90s.. It was action era.. Guys like Sanjay dutt sunny deol.. Jackie sheroff and so on.. Loved their movies.. It showed us the real hero.. The fiction character that we all wanted to be as a kid... We loved to be one of those guys who could beat up dozens of bad guys.. The real strong hero.. Bad ass hero fearless and the one that overcame all the odds..

When srk got to bw he brought the Rona dhona.. The action genre was totally replaced by Rom com.. Cheesy Rona dhona.. I have to say srk can cry like a little girl.. He is the best at that.. Lol

We got to see those Heros who could fight 10 to 12 bad guys and overcom all the odds.. Start crying like little bitches lol.. Be all romantic and soft..So he took away those hero figures.. When I first watched dabangg.. I was like this is the greatest movie in the planet.. That taugh hero was back.. Specially the part that he slaps his brother infront of police commissioner and chedi Singh... Totally bad ass who had no fear.. The action hero was back for me..


My first thread in this forum was about srk.. I personally think he is a marvelous actor if he plays good serious roles.. His devdas acting.. Cdi..mik anjuam.. Swedas and so many other movies..I think the fact that he changed the industry and brought a new genre of movies proved that he is a great actor.. I just hate his romantic movies..

Those 3 movies you mentioned.. Only khnh.. Is worth watching..the rest are cheesy and bad..

Karan only works with popular stars that he shares good equations with. He's worked with SRK, Kajol and Kareena way too many times.

He needs to work with new people and step out of his comfort zone lol.

I remember once Salman Said in an interview or on bigg boss that Karan Johar 'avoided' making films with him due to 'someone's influence'..lol samajdharom ko ishara kafi hai..lol
