Indian constitution does not allows people to be dual-citizens. Hence, if she has not given up on her Denmark passport, there is no way that she would have gotten an Indian passport (hence, the citizenship) irrespective of her ancestry.Children of Indian citizens are eligible to become Overseas Citizens of Indian (i.e get an OCI visa) or Persons of Indian Origin (i.e. get a PIO passport). Either way, they can live and work in India but are NOT allowed to vote.
