Varun Dhawan, the latest pin-up boy from Bollywood, turns 27 today and he ushered in his birthday partying with friends.
With two hit films under his belt, Varun Dhawan has every reason to celebrate as he turns 27 on Thursday. Not surprisingly, the celebrations began early on at the actor's Juhu residence.
We hear Varun partied last night with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, all of them his friends and well-wishers. The private bash began around 11 pm and continued well into the night with a lot of music and dance happening. There was also food and drinks, as ensured by the hosts Varun and his elder brother Rohit Dhawan.
Son of director David Dhawan, Varun made his acting debut in 2012 with the Karan Johar-directed Student Of The Year. He recently followed it up with another hit film Main Tera Hero directed by his dad.
The back-to-back success, however, hasn't gone to his head. Very recently, he said in an interview, "I wouldn't call myself a star. Not now, not ever. I'm here because I love the movies. I am not here to make money."
Varun Dhawan is currently busy with the Karan Johar-produced film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania with Alia Bhatt. Besides this he has a lot more on his plate.
