A slew of projects in her kitty, Deepika Padukone is currently focusing only on Tamasha. While talking to the media recently, the actress said that she is allowed only to speak about her forthcoming film with Ranbir Kapoor.
Naturally, the actress is excited to pair up with the actor for the film which is said to be about self-discovery. Tamasha will go on the floors in June this year. A major chunk of the movie will be shot at an exotic European island. Thus, Ranbir and Deepika will be spending many days there shooting for the film.
Post the super success of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, many directors were keen to rope in the hit pair of Ranbir-Deepika, but the duo has given their nod only to Imtiaz Ali, with whom both have worked earlier (separately though).
Earlier, Imtiaz Ali was spoilt for choice while picking the film's leading lady. It was said that actress Katrina Kaif was eager to do the film, but scales tipped in Deepika Padukone's favour.
Imtiaz Ali has once again roped in the maestro A R Rahman for the music of the film which is going to be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
