Attracted to black folks - Page 7

Something I remembered last year during the Ganesh/Ganpati celebrations I visited several temples with my family, I am usually not keen on religion and don't grasp Hinduism with it's billion layers at all, but I had to go, so we went to one of these temples in NY and there I saw an Indian woman probably in her early/mid 30's and a black man, he was light skin but he was definitely black/biracial, he kinda looked awkward as if he felt out of place, his head was shaven so there wasn't much of a distinction between him and the Indians there (except for the fact that he was better looking, better built, and didn't look like he had just jumped off a boat unlike them), if you didn't pay attention or were standing afar you would have thought he was a brown guy anywau. But since these things spark my interest I paid attention and realized he was AA. I thought it was so sweet of him to come along with his spouse, because clearly the entire hall was full of hundreds of narrow minded, pressed, racist Indians.It wasn't a temple, it was a hall- at a school were 'our' community celebrated Ganesh Visarjan.
They had aisles with the idols there and all.

I don't have a bf right now but I am mostly attracted to AA (African American) males, now coming from an Indian background ya'll probably can guess that this is sort of problematic.

Both my parents are racists and hate goras as well as kalas, though kalas more.
They'd rather accept a gora than a kala..
I can't help but be physically attracted to them though, and I know that I'll most likely end up marrying one/having a mixed child.
I don't know how to open their eyes cuz they are too ignorant.
I absolutely know that I won't be having a no desi babies with an Indian man, that is not me, never was and never will be.

So please help!!

To make it Bollywood relevant, in Bwood mating with folks of different races is soo easy but in reality it isn't. I wish it was as easy for me as it is for the likes of Salman, MaheshBhatt, Ranbir, Katrina etc

I never opened a topic to provoke racial or religious or ethnicity sentiments ... but I do reply if i feel like it. If U open a topic asking for advice from public forum members abt ur personal issues which involves " parents r narrow minded/ignorant, Indian men and desi babies r No-no, attracted to black guys only" etc.. Acc. to me blaming ur parents for their views on who shud U NOT marry based their exp or views on certain community may be valid or not.. I think putting down parents in bad lights is WORSE than a racial joke meant be funny.. but coz it touched some ppls, nerves, its not my problem.

I have seen topics like Indians r stpd, read a comment like "Islam says men shud look down when a woman is passing by, howcome Hinduism allow rape" and I was gonna give a bloody long reply to that with hard facts.. but i refrained from it. coz the topic wud be locked and many ppl here wud be left boiling.

Every1 has their issues and personal choices.. if u bring it to BW public forum.. where race is at centre point, u shud expect diff. responses. Just like I have accepted some ppls' comment on me.. coz of that one liner joke.

Atlanta jurors have found an India-born businessman guilty of masterminding the murder of his black daughter-in-law because he feared the mixed marriage would smear the caste-conscious family's name.

Chiman Rai, 68, was convicted on seven charges, including felony murder and burglary. Prosecutors will seek the death penalty."

Oh yeah. The young couple had a baby daughter, who the widower gave up after the trial. The widower has since remarried...an Indian woman.
