I didn't know Preity's debut was Dil Se, I always thought it was 'Kya Kehna' lol.

I think Mahima's debut was the best. With a debut like that I have no clue how she didn't get big projects afterwards.

I'm surprised by just 1 vote for Nandita Das, she excelled in 1947:Earth. Playing a complex character with confidence.

I doubt they were bigger. Kumar Gaurav is a nobody today, Rishi was popular but not as much as his contemporaries. Sunny and Aamir were good but I didn't see the kind of hysteria there, that was present with Hrithik in their debuts.

Ranveer in BBB and Duggu in KHNPH. I would say Dhanush too since he didn't speak Hindi..that must have been challenging for him but he was so convincing.

From the girls Mahima in Pardes.

I thought Vidya was boring in her first film..lacked screen presence.
