i doubt she would ever even have a chance at hollywood to begin with

she's a great fit for bollywood, but i doubt she would be sought after in hollywood

it would be a dumb decision anyway

why leave your spot of ruling bollywood to become a small fish in hollywood?

I've read numerous articles that in their first year (like when they officially join the brand), the female actresses from BW aren't invited to Cannes. Case in point - Sonam. I think it's the same situation for Katrina, but of course her team just has to justify her not attending (citing movie shootings, love for Ranbir, etc.) instead of just giving a much more plausible reason or saying it how it really is. But then again...who (aka which actress) would wanna admit to something like that?

On second thoughts, the dicision was taken coz she dint want her schedule to go haywire again due to canns . Her schedule is been a mess for past one year.and it can happen to anybody , accidents are not in your control , if she skips jj shooting and goes for canns it will effect rest of her movies too fitoor wont start on time and phantom wont end on time. So I feel the decision is more on professional grounds. And there is always next year for canns . Even sonam dint go to canns for her first year. Katrina can compensate by releasing jagga jasoos in canns next year . And walking red carpet with ranbir. Anurag basu had even relesed kites at canns years back . Hrithik and barbra more walking red carpet. And I feel even read somewhere that katrina and ranbir will walk canns next year with there movie.
