Only if the rapist also inflicts an injury which causes the death of the person or causes the person to be in a persistent vegetative state, he shall be punished with rigorous imprisonment for a minimum of twenty years. This was the new amendment.

What to expect? These politicians have own criminal records that include rape cases against them. Rapists are contesting elections and even winning since ages! They watch p*rn on their cell phones in assembly. They happily attend mujras and parties with sharaab-shabaab combo even as their constituency burns in riots.

They are able to bark simply because the educated citizens do not vote! The illierate or "galti karne wale" types get swayed by lame promises and sometimes even by lure of free alcohol. They vote for these dumbos and make them win!

If the junta that outrages online, even actually got outside and voted these sickos out of power then there'd be some hope.

Lastly, let's check ourselves and our friends and family too when they dismiss criminal acts as mere mistakes made in youth.

You're right! Masses can gather and throw stones at cricketers' cars and houses for bad performance in a tournament but are okay or merely rant a bit online when leaders do or say BS. It's actually more serious and more of a disgrace when MPs and ministers take country to dogs!
