Nope, in the US it works like that, but not in the Europe. Unless both of the parents have either residence or citizenship. The Danish are very strict on immigration.

I should state again, Deepika was born there, but does not mean she is a citizen of Denmark. Maybe she was born there because her mom might had complications or something?

Her dad who was a Badminton world champion around that period was training in Denmark.

Deepika cannot be a Danish citizen, so she must be an Indian citizen...if she's not voting it's because of IIFA or she simply doesn't want to vote. 😆

Imran and Katrina can't vote.

Actually that is quite not true.

Every country has it's own citizenship laws, and a citizenship of an individual depends on that.
Even though a person might have born in a different country it might not necessarily mean that the person acquires a citizenship of that particular country. In such a case the citizen ship is given according to the parents citizenship.

2 examples

If you are born in the US you acquire US citizenship

and in contrast if you are born in UAE you do not acquire their citizenship. Infact there are lot of terms and conditions to be overcome in order to be a citizen of UAE. Which trust me is quite difficult.

I do not know about the law of Denmark so can't actually comment on Deepika's citizenship.

But just wanted to clear that it is not necessary that we will acquire a country's citizen ship just because we were born there. (Except for US)

Imran Khan holds an OCI card. He said it outright that he wasn't a citizen but holds OCI, before Delhi Belly when he challenged the new drinking age of 25 through his lawyer.
