Sonakshi Sinha to work with superstar Rajinikanth?

Seems like Sonakshi Sinha is God's favourite child. After working with all the biggest heroes in Bollywood, she has now reportedly landed a role opposite none other than Rajinikanth.
According to a leading daily, Sonakshi Sinha and "Singham 2" actress Anushka Shetty are being considered for the female leads opposite Southern superstar in a period romance, which is expected to go on floors by May end.
The two roles are that of a girl-next-door from past era and another a trendy girl of today, the daily reports.
Sonakshi, apparently has been given first preference to pick the role of her choice.
A source close to the film tells, "They are two different tracks and the girls will not share much screen space. This means they can allot a different set of dates to the two actresses. Sonakshi, a busy Bollywood actress, will pick her role depending on her schedule. She likes both of them equally."
The film is written and directed by KS Ravikumar who wrote "Kochadaiiyaan" and produced by Rockline Venkatesh.
