Dippy Forced To Choose between Shuddhi n Bajirao Mastani

Deepika Padukone has inherited some great projects of late which have done wonders for her as an actress and star. However, with Shuddhi' and Bajirao Mastani' reportedly set to clash at Christmas 2015, BizAsia has learnt that the actress may have to make a tough call on which project she does.
Reportedly, Padukone was favourite for both movies which have seen changes in cast since conception. As the box office clash news hit the media, it became highly unlikely that Padukone would want both films to get conflicting verdicts at the box office purely due to their release date. A source spoke to Asian Age, "Once Kareena Kapoor moved out of Shuddhi, Deepika's was the first name to be considered. On the other hand, post Ram-Leela, Bhansali and Deepika have formed a great rapport and she is one of the top contenders for Bhansali's film".
"Deepika is currently shooting for Happy New Year besides also being committed to Imtiaz Ali's tentatively titled Window Seat. Both Karan as well as Sanjay require bulk dates from their leading ladies. One can't expect anything less than 100 days each, considering the scale of both the films," continued the source.
It was being said that Padukone had already chosen one project over the other but it remains to be seen whether she chooses to hold on to both projects or give her all to just the one.

I thought she already chose Shuddhi? 😕 We get like 5 articles on Shuddhi and Bajirao every day. It's so effing frustrating.

you see this is the reason why I don't believe any of these articles, we had an article that said she has chosen shuddhi, now we have this article that says she is deciding between the two and we don't now which one she has picked.

I think media is recycling old article. She is doing Piku which is not mentioned here.

Two articles come up - one says ranveer has to decide between Shuddhi and BM and the other says dpad has to choose between the two. Ppl have no issues with the first but start crying foul with the latter! IF is so much fun 😆
