I think it's stupid to make a sweeping generalisation like that. But I do think she has a point.

Normally if you're too beautiful, your beauty and personal life overpowers the actor in you. When you're ugly, there is hardly anything else to notice. So if you're a good actor you're noticed for your acting talent immediately.

in fact except aishwarya this would apply to no one else. aish is so utterly gorgeous that even her half decent performance got unnoticed.

but aish's beauty is an anomaly. except her. all the other actresses who are beautiful, never went underappreciated. ever. name one. most ppl in the industry are fairly good looking and ok actors.

in fact it is the other way around. beauty without talent will still get you work. (kat, aish is her earlier plastic years) . but just talent will not get you noticed. or just good enough for supporting roles.
