Cocktail isn't the new age KKHH or the new age anything really. Most people have probably already forgotten about the film. I did, until I read this topic and all the memories came back lol

Cocktail was a piece of shit I can't believe they are still making these type of films in this day and age. It was downright disgusting. They are promoting that men can do whatever they want and they are still going to end up with little innocent Virgins. While girls like Veronica will face the consequences.

Saif's character was a wh**e, he should've ended up a lone just like Veronica.

Cocktail-Weird voiced 2nd lead, disappointing and predictable ending, comedy that makes you think if it really is funny enough, love story that comes up when the girl gets drunk and dances Ooo yeah aha aha!

KKHH-amazingly catchy songs, every character is funny and lovable, love story that you can root for, MY chilhood nostalgia.

I liked both movies, though i thought cocktail was supposed to be a movie where the two gals liked one another ( a new age concept with commercial stars) and in the end would throw the guy out and be together, because that was the impression they gave in the trailer 😆 😆 But it turned out tobe like most movies with a predictable ending, but liked veronicas character and deepikas acting and thought it was her best to date!! She truly impressed me in this movie!!

Okayy personally I feel Cocktail was an extremely regressive movie and so was KKHH but I like them both😆.. Gautam liked the plain jane shalwar suit clad Meera and Rahul liked the saree clad Anjali.. why didn't he like Ajali when she was all the tom boyish? she was his best friend.. Anjali always liked him.. but then he went for the more hip Tina and when he saw Anjali all sexy in the saree he fell in love instantly.. 😕 Now that I'm a grown up and can actually pay attention to all these things I do feel Cocktail was a new age KKHH.. and if so many people pick on Cocktail why is KKHH considered a classic? Both of the "real" characters in the movie (Aman and Veronica) had to sacrifice while the selfish people had a win win situation.. how is that fair? maybe I'm, just digging too much into it but I feel Cocktail was a modernized version of KKHH.. if Cocktail was regressive so was KKHH.. If KKHH is a classic why aint Cocktail??? bolo bolo

PS: I like both the movies KKHH a tad bit more.. I would watch them regardless.. this is just for discussion purposes..

No way.

Saif was so annoying in this film. Both his character and acting. 😵 I have never seen him act this badly but I guess the script and his character is also to blame. Ranbir would have probably did this role better.

i feel like this opinion of cocktail being regressive all of a sudden popped up now because it was talked about on anupama chopra's show. i didnt like the movie at all though. he had to end up with one of them so just because its the sati savitri he ended up with doesnt mean that theres something wrong with the other girl. if he had ended up with veronica then then ppl wuld say the simple girls always have to give up their love etc.

I never liked KKHH so I am all for this topic! 🥳

Dialogues, love, friendship all of it was just LAME. The whole romeo-juliet discussion. I still find it amusing when Kjo brings up KKHH.

Cocktail made me want to pull my hair out! All that love and all that drama. Terrible dialogues, terrible attempt at falling in love and STUPID Meera. That whole love angle was so unconvincing! Cliched dialogues, coy glances, and um LOVE 😲 No wonder we all rooted for both DP's towards the end. Saif's character could go to hell in his Sheila ki jawaani avatar with his Mummy. 😳😉
