If those movies were hit it was thanks to SRK and Aamir it had nothing to do with Kajol. And if any actress had been casted opposite them it would have been a hit anyways. Kajol has always played it safe in her career never took risks in acting. She was lucky to have a close friend Karan Johar and once upon a time friend Aditya Chopra. So I don't get it when people praise her so much but I think it's her chemistry with thanks to SRK again that does it for her...I agree she's a good actress but not the best or the most talented out there.

Actresses like Madhuri, Rani, Manisha, Tabu, Karisma had done many versatile roles with and without big stars opposite them...

She always makes a great comeback and leaves a strong impact. Even her non-successful movies like WAF And UMAH got her immense critical acclaim.

Those who are saying that kajol owe her career to KJO and Srk are totally wrong. Srk had his first hit with kajol, baazigar. SRK give his iconic movies with kajol, DDLJ, KKHH, K3! Both SRK and Kajol were new at that time. SRK had no star power when DDLJ released so both of them did well because of each other.
