"U.S. investigators suspect that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 stayed in the air for about four hours past the time it reached its last confirmed location, according to two people familiar with the details, raising the possibility that the plane could have flown on for hundreds of additional miles under conditions that remain murky."

Any chance that the debris has sank to the bottom of the Ocean by the time the Vietnamese could get to the location pinpointed by the Chinese Satellite Images?😕 But then again, they would have used under-water detection devices to search for it, especially considering that the depth is just 150-200 feet.
The latest reports coming in are that the plane kept flying for nearly 4 fours and more after last contact with Ground Control and Investigators are suspecting that the plane would have ended up somewhere in the Andaman Islands or further west in the Lakshwadeep Island.
Indian Navy and Airforce has started combing the area, but I am imagining that its going to be really tough as compared to the SAR in Gulf of Thailand...because the sea level in the Andaman is far deeper and wider than the Gulf of Thaliand area.
Some reports are suggesting that it could very well have touched the tip of Pakistan too...Gosh! So much for modern day technology...a commercial jetliner flies un-authorized, un-identified through multiple countries and no one has any clue!!!😕
If 10 countries in 6 days could not find anything about the plane, just about anything is possible now!

There is some focus on the passenger list as well...20 senior exercutives (all of them confirmed to be Engineers) from a semi-conductor company...they would be the type of people who will have a fair amount of knowledge regarding radar and jamming signals etc...can there be a possible connection between some of the passengers and the disappearance of the plane?
A report says that there does exist capability to fly a plane in an invisible mode (as in undetected from radar's are any other kind of signals)...and the engineers travelling in the plane were exactly the kind of people who would possess this type of knowledge.
There is an article in this regard too;

Twenty employees of Austin-based technology company Freescale Semiconductor were on board the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 that was en route to Beijing.

The employees were en route to a business meeting in China, a spokeswoman for the tech firm said.

The employees " 12 from Malaysia and eight from China "work at facilities in their respective countries that manufacture semiconductor chips, said Freescale Semiconductor spokeswoman Jacey Zuniga.

"We have several manufacturing sites in Kuala Lumpur and Tianjin, China. Those 20 employees were with those teams," she said.

The employees were aboard Flight MH370, which lost contact with ground controllers somewhere between Malaysia and Vietnam after leaving Kuala Lumpur early Saturday morning for Beijing. The plane was carrying 239 people.

Freescale Semiconductor has been developing microprocessors, sensors and other technology for the past 50 years. The technology it creates is commonly referred to as embedded processors, which according to the firm are "stand-alone semiconductors that perform dedicated computing functions in electronic systems."

The fact that the employees were on board has sparked one of the many conspiracy theories associated with the plane vanishing, which is that there was electronic weaponry on board.

The theory purports that the weaponry enabled some of the people on board-the Freescale employees and the people who boarded the plane with fake passports-to jam radar and other electronic observation, making the plane essentially invisible except to eyewitnesses.

One of the authors of the theory, elaborating in a post on popular conspiracy website Before It's News, alludes to a U.S. intelligence assessment on capabilities of Israel in regards to an attack on Iran. Any attack would include jamming the electric grid, Internet, and cell phone network, using devices such as one that mimics a maintenance cell phone signal that commands the cell network to "sleep."

The report also references a story from Fox News that explained that new stealth technology makes airplanes invisible to radar, and can also make them hard to spot with the naked eye.

"The general public ... might not hear about how far the U.S. has really come, because it is and should remain classified," firearms expert Chris Sajnog, a former Navy SEAL, said. "Other countries are still playing catch-up " but they're closing the gap."

The story includes references to Chinese media reports that detail making things disappear using types of invisibility cloaks. The missing flight was flying from Malaysia to China.

"It is conceivable that the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 plane is cloaked,' hiding with high-tech electronic warfare weaponry that exists and is used," a Before It's News story claims. "In fact, this type of technology is precisely the expertise of Freescale, that has 20 employees on board the missing flight."

Freescale's commercial products can meet the requirements of applications such as avionics, electronic warfare, and battlefield communications, according to the company's website.

Problem is, it only had another 4 hours of fuel. So it would have landed 6 days back itself, if it did. Did they make no effort to make a contact? Could they be lost in a deserted forest/island from where they cannot get out on their own and need help? I seriously hope that is the case and they will be traced soon. They're in my prayers.
I refuse to believe that not even a single piece of debris hasn't been identified.. that is just not possible if it did blow up (which I hope is not the case).

I hope and pray that's the case I'm sure there will be survivors then

If this tehory of flying for 4 hours after the last signal is true then obvious that either mechanical problems, pilot mistakes nor some other type of catastrophic incident caused the 250-ton plane to mysteriously vanish from radar. Someone must have deliberately turned off the transponders. I still don't understand why transponders can be manually turned off in commercial airliners. Isn't that simply asking for trouble?

WSJ has reported that based on automatic data downloaded from the Boeing 777 to the ground as part of routine maintenance and monitoring show that the plane kept flying for 4 hours after last contact with ground control. The Boeing 777 Engine Monitoring System is controlled by Rolls Royce which manufactures these Engines for Boeing and it periodically keeps sending bursts of data to the maintenance unit at Rolls Royce.

RR has handed over the data which came from the engine of MH370 to US Investigators stating that after analysis, it looks like the plane was indeed airborne for hours after it officially disappeared.

Wall Street Journal is a very respected news source, not the kinds who will publish rumors without verifying with authorities.

The same article states that if it indeed flew for 4 hours, it could have crossed India and touch the Southern most tip of Pakistan. It had fuel to fly for 7 hours.
What is baffling is that to fly all the way across to the Arabian Sea would mean crossing Indian Territory...and Andaman Nicobar is brimming with Indian Navy and Airforce...plus, we have our very own Satellite right above that area...(India has activated that Satellite to look for any clues regarding MH370's presence in the area, btw...should be getting news on this in a day or two.) How did a commerical jetliner pass through this area without anyone getting alerted?
If the plane is found anywhere in the vicinity of the Andman or Lakshwadeep Islands, it would be a bigger embarassment for India than it is for Malaysia. Our defence system is far bigger and stronger than Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam etc...the fact that a plane flew undetected over this part of the world without the Indian's having any clue would be seriously undermining out defence capabilties!

Okay why did it fly for four hours? I still have a feeling the plane is being held hostage somewhere.. I don't know what they're planning.. maybe something big..
