n Kapoor Tries to Patch Up Katrina Kaif and Sonam Kapoor

Arjun Kapoor seems to have gone out of his way to get his cousin Sonam Kapoor and good friend Katrina Kaif to extend the olive branch!

There's a lot of history involved in this one. First of all, besides being extremely protective of Sonam, Arjun considers Katrina a "really good friend" and admits "she's like family to me". How you ask? Well don't forget that at the time the Salman-Katrina relationship was at its peak, Arjun was dating Salman's little sister Arpita! It was then that Katrina and Arjun bonded.

Also, Kat was never quite comfortable with Sonam who made unflattering comments about her alleged boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. But then he was apparently Sonam's ex-boyfriend too!

While Kat definitely keeps RK Junior's other girlfriend, Deepika Padukone at bay, things are not the same with Sonam and her.

Arjun kept chipping away at both Sonam and Kat and now, at least they've agreed to be a little more than cordial with each other when they meet. No wonder Sonam apparently recently told a friend at an event, "I admire Katrina a lot. She has done a lot for her family and that's very inspiring." We wonder how long this friendship' would last?
