Hera Pheri is a cult film cos of its characters, dialogue & humor ... AAA was more a slapstick with OTT characters

Not at all overrated. It was hilarious but not slapstick comedy like AAA which good gr8 btw.. for laugh.

There was a underlying current of emotions in Heraferi.. the common men's struggle to survive in Mumbai city. Suneil-Tabu fights, Akshay-Suneil fights.. etc.. all had realism behind it.

Something Raju Hirani knows best now.

It revived Akshay's acreer and Paresh Raval became the highest paid comedian after it.

"Oye, meri macchli ka kya hua?

machhli? mai use fry karke kha gaya.. bol kya kar lega tu? "

Nope not at all...its an all time classic and probably the best ever comedy...was so refreshing compared to ghisa pita comedies which still looks refreshing and haven't dated much
