Well Arjun didn't win for iconic movies, Kajol has won awards for KKHH, DDLJ, K3G, MNISK, Fanaa etc...Do you REALLY think people will forget such things? I mean, its okay to dislike her and not be a fan, but clearly if you think otherwise your in denial. I am not EVEN a fan of Kajol but shes undeniably one of the best actresses.

Hema was in an iconic movie Sholay. How does everyone remember her? Mimicking her yun-ki-yeh-kaun-bola or Nahhiiinnn in a pathetic way.

Half of the iconic movies of Kajol won't be considered as iconic 30 years from now. Rest would be butchered by tomorrows stand-up comedians.

I wish, she had as epic a dialogue as mere-karan-arjun-aayenge in any of her iconic movies instead of shrieky vadde-log-vaddi-vaddi-baatein.

Although I admit she does talk loud when she's delivering her dialogues sometimes I still think she's a very good actress, I really liked her in Fanaa and My Name Is Khan. Gupt was a brilliant movie for her, to see her play a villain was just superb.

It is completely wrong to say that 90s did not make movies with strong women characters. Look at Manisha and the type of movies she acted in - 1942, Khamoshi, Dil se, Bombay.
Look at Urmila and all the movies where she was the lynch pin.
Just because Kajol stuck to her urban, loud- mouthed, frothy characters doesn't mean there were no strong women characters in the 90s movies. Almost all of Kajol's roles were cookie-cutter variety. There was no diversity in her roles.
If success of movies make for a great artist then Katrina will be the undisputed acting queen of Bollywood.
