I remember my first ever film was DDLJ and I ended up not only loving the film but I really liked Kajol at that time because she was different from all the other actresses... She wasn't as groomed and wasn't exactly Bollywoods idea of good looking like her contemporaries like Raveena Tandon, Sonali Bendre, Madhuri, Juhi, or Karishma... She had a unibrow, wasn't quite in perfect body shape or anything YET she lit the screen for me because she was more relatable and had immense talent...

I actually always loved SRK, Salman, and Aamir so I would mostly only watch their movies...

I remember watching Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and not liking it as much as everybody else because I didn't think Rahul deserved Anjali and I wanted Anjali to choose Aman(Salman) over Rahul... But then, I watched the film much later after it actually released.. I think I watched it first in 2001 when I was around 4 years old so yeah, my 4 year old self didn't approve of Rahul and Anjali in that movie.. And till this day, I don't ...lol

My first cinema experience was when I was probably 2-3 years old and my family went to watch Border. I just remember walking in the aisles and hearing bomb blasts, plus Sunny Deol screaming.

I don't remember when was the first time I watched Kuch Kuch Hota Hai but that was a movie that I loved always. I remember though when I was 5 or 6 that I begged my mum to put on KKHH on tape. And strangely, I was a bigger fan of Kajol and the little Anjali then SRK. But yes, that's when I noticed SRK.

I never really liked Salman Khan before but I watched HSSH in cinemas with my family when I was really young and I remember the elephant sequence song. So I guess that's how I noticed Salman.

Strange that I remember watching Kaho Na Pyar Hai when I was 6 or something but I still did not notice Hritik Roshan.

I don't really know when I started noticing the other stars. They just occurred to me as I grew.

DDLJ..I was 5 when it released..went to the theatre to watch it with my whole family..and the song "Mere Khwabon Me Jo Aaye"..made a place in my mind and heart that day..It was so fairytale-ish..A Girl standing by the window ..a guy running in the rain playing football..It was all so beautiful..I believed in all this for a long long time(May be I still do sometimes)..And the idea of a dream man was Shahrukh for me..And this one I still believe in..Thats how SRK became my Always and Forever..❤️

There was song called "Mera Piya Ghar Aaya" from the movie "Yaarana"..and I became crazy about that song..loved to dance to its tunes😆.And thats how I started loving Madhuri..Always used to try and emulate her(still do sometimes).😳

Special mention to Aishwarya Rai..It was the time when she became Miss World..I used to look at her pictures and the only thought that used to come to my mind was that..She is so beautiful..and at the same time she is so talented..So that means just being beautiful does not suffice..you need to carve your own niche and give a meaning to your beauty..even if you are the most beautiful woman in the world..She became an inspiration..and she still is..Love her for the dignified way she has handled her life and stardom..inspite of being in the limelight all the time..

Salman. my first Salman and Aamir movie was AAA I remember an incident related to this movie. there was this Gal who had a crush on my sister's BIL I remember my sister her BIL and their friends turning the power off whenever she sits down to watch the movie with us.(so she goes away) that's horrible. Ajay the first Ajay movie I watch was haqeeqat I loved him and the movie both I was Ajay fan thru my childhood I still like him but he is wasting his talent so bit upset with his choice of films.

Kifs was Koyla a good movie? I've never actually seen that one, same with Dil Se.

Aww I have faint memories of AAA and DDLJ, but I was a baby then, mum used to say I would wrap a dupatta like a saree and dance to Tujhe Dekha, Yeh Raat Aur Yeh Doori and Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye. 😆

I think I only ever remember watching SRK and Salman movies until I was old enough (11-12ish) to dig out old movies and watch em myself. 😆

I watched Anjaam at a very young age too, which was weird coz it was TRAUMATISING! 😆 I used to think SRK was the good guy, and Madhuri was a villain for not loving him, and killing him in the end. Ofcourse I watched it later and realised how bad he actually was. 😆

Chalti hai kya nau se bara. 🤣 Me too I used to wear my dad's long knee length shirt and dance like Salman. 😆

Oh yes, I was truamatised too when I realised Gauri was SRK's wife and Kajol married Ajay. 😭 Why dammit? 😆
