maybe, but there have been many hints as to it being serious. Deepika going to see him twice at the hospital when he had dengue, once when he was discharged. they spent her bday together in nyc.

There has been a lot of confirmation that they are a couple but maybe Deepika doesn't want to make the same mistake twice by going public with her relationship only to get burned again. I think she is being careful but I do think they look good together and its obvious Ranveer cares a lot about her, hopefully things work out between them
